Two systems, live today.

Most of my work lives in two places: the WhatsApp chat where customers already are, and the job site where heavy machines log their hours.

An omnichannel AI platform on WhatsApp, Instagram and the Meta Business APIs. A two agent architecture handles the conversations, campaigns go out to contact lists, and every message is metered and billed per message.

Vertical AI for heavy machinery

Hour meter vision

Operators photograph the hour meter. An LLM vision model reads it, the reading is checked against the last known value and a plausible range, and only then is it written into the client's ERP. Anything out of range goes to a person instead.

03 · futurX

I coordinated Hackathon futurX 2026.

futurX is a university AI community in Peru. Its 2026 hackathon ran online from October 14 to 24, with masterclasses from experts in Peru, the US and Japan, and closed with a Demo Day at UTP in Lima, where 8 finalist teams pitched to the jury. I was general coordinator, one of the three hackathon leads with Angel Feijoo, director of futurX, and Waldo Guevara, director of JGM Innovation. I also gave two of the live talks, and I built futurx.pe, where registration, proposals and team sign up ran.

Most AI projects die between the demo and production. I work in that gap.

I scope the business problem, design the architecture, build it, ship it into a messy real environment, and keep it running. Native English and Spanish, working from Lima with full US timezone overlap.

    Founding engineering team on the platform that became Peru's first physical crypto exchange: exchange dashboard, order books, trading and wallet APIs. Promoted after 7 months.

    Lead Engineer.

    Lead engineering on the flagship accounts, from discovery to operation: Propaga, the hour meter vision pipeline, Suppliers Ebombo with MCP integrations, and Emito. Production RAG agents with pgvector and LangGraph, token streaming over SSE and WebSockets.

    Senior Software Architect.

    NEMO LATAM

    Led the architecture of the core trading platform. Shipped the first VISA card integration on a Peruvian crypto exchange, the P2P trading system and a mass payments module. Ran the AWS infrastructure from scratch at 99.9% uptime, 24/7. Mentored 2 engineers.

    Built a services marketplace solo in a 3 month sprint: React Native app and backend for listings, booking, provider verification and payments. Live on Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery. First place, ULIMA Innovation Contest, with seed funding.

Three things I do, end to end.

  • AI Agents.

    Production RAG pipelines and multiagent systems. LangGraph orchestration across Claude, OpenAI and Gemini, pgvector retrieval, context engineering, and MCP integrations that connect agents to client tools. Token streaming over SSE and WebSockets, so answers render as they generate. Running for real clients, not demos.
